inspired by repetition by phil kaye (linked below)

when you repeat something over and over again it loses its meaning.

i’ve been feeling this way lately, stuck at home between papers for weeks on end. studying the same thing over and over again. getting up, studying, wasting time and repeat and repeat and …. repeat.

now that my exams are long over and the initial couple of weeks high is over- when you meet friends, go out and make new connections. it gets tiring and boring after a while, the same meals and same conversations. all of this while being a homebody. where i would prefer just never leaving my house at all.

the thought of leaving the comfort of my house and leaving my city for another life basically sends an uncomfortable shiver down my back. it makes me never wanna leave the comfort of my room or miss out on spending time with my parents.

im breaking the rut once again now, in small steps. a guitar class twice a week, meeting couple friends here and there, calling people and checking up on them.

it feels fresh and i love it.

i love u

have a good one
